SIT believes in the overall development of students by providing, in addition to academics, facilities that would bring out sportsmanship and team spirit. A huge ground has been developed for outdoor games like Cricket, Football & Volleyball. The sport week and Annual day are celebrated every year with a great deal of enthusiasm.
Every year on Engineer’s day SIT organizes science fest. Students enthusiastically participate in the fest and demonstrate the journey of science to technology through working models and charts. The display of working models by the students of diploma are appreciated by all.
Industrial visit is a part of the technical education, during which students visit companies and get insight of on the internal working environment of the company. The industrial visit also provides an insight on how companies work and also useful information related to the practical aspects of the course which cannot be visualized in lectures.
SIT organizes guest lectures for the students to help them gain knowledge of latest technological developments. Workshops are also organized to impart technical skills to make them readily employable. Special training programmes are conducted to develop leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
Convocation ceremony is organized in college campus every year in collaboration with Board of Technical Education, Lucknow to award the meritorious student and distribute the certificates to the pass out students
